People are going to be taken on a fun ntasy-filled adventure to this crazy place where we find the novelist. You just have to go for it and go for the ride, star Vanessa Hudgens shares in a new featurette for the flick.
The flick follows Sean Anderson (Josh Hutcherson), who partners with his moms (Kristin Davis) boyfriend (Dwayne Johnson) on a mission to find his grandther (Michael Caine), who is thought to be missing on a mythical island.

Vanessa, 22, plays Kailani in the movie. Luis Guzman stars as her ther, Gabato. Journey 2: The Mysterious Island opens February 10th!
Are Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens getting back together? It definitely looks that way! The High School Musical dream couple was just spotted together at Eden, a Hollywood nightclub. A spy spilled that Vanessa was bopping around with her arms up while Zac had his hands all over her! Vanessa had a smile on from ear to ear and the two were inseparable... In a departure from her High School Musical past, Vanessa Hudgens has been set to star alongside Nicolas Cage and John Cusack in Frozen Ground, the Emmett/Furla Films thriller that is being sold here in Toronto, with Voltage Pictures handling international sales. The film, which will begin shooting October 17 in Anchorage, Alaska, marks the feature directing debut of Scott Walker, who wrote the scrvanessa hudgensipt.
Pic is based on true events surrounding Alaskas most notorious serial predator, Robert Hansen. Cusack is playing Hansen, regarded in the community as a respected mily man. In the span of 12 years, he abducted more than 24 women, flew them into the Alaskan wilderness, and hunted and murdered them. Hudgens will play the one teenage victim who escaped. When she returned to tell her story, nobody believed her. Cage will play the Alaskan State Trooper who finds her on the street. Together they work to bring Hansen to justice.
Frozen Ground is being produced by Randall Emmett and George Furla, along with Amber Entertainments Jane Fleming and Mark Ordesky. Envision Entertainments Stephan Martirosyan and Remington Chase, and Curtis 50 Cent Jackson and executive producers. Emmett/Furla Films this weekend set a $250 million film find with Envision Entertainment. Hudgens is repped by CAA.

Instead of sticking with their usual sun-kissed glows, young starlets are pushing the boundaries and trying new, right-off-the-runway makeup trends. Case in point: Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale, both alums of Disneys High School Musical, opted for dramatic blush to highlight the apples of their cheeks.
Ashley opted for a candy-cute image by swiping on a coat of cotton candy-pink lipstick and gloss, but the rest of her hair and makeup styling suggest California surfer chic. With thick black liner defining her top and bottom lash lines, she effectively brings attention to her eyes, which are framed by her shaped-to-perfection brows. Her twisted and tousled hair complete her relatable look, while her flushed cheeks add a finishing flourish to her sun-kissed skin.
Vanessa, on the other hand, left her wholesome Disney image in the dust by wearing striking makeup inspired by the glamour of Old Hollywood. Her deep plum eyeshadow brings out the honey hue in her brown eyes, while thick black lower lashes make them appear larger. A magenta lip color worked perfectly with her look and melted seamlessly into the darker pink color sweeping her cheekbones.

I first transformed her haircut by removing the weight from the sides, creating more texture and movement and opening up her ce. I used a large wooden round brush to straighten out Vanessas wave, and used a FHI 1 ionic hair iron to create random curls that I pulled apart with the hands, giving it height and separation to make the texture look natural, chic and effortless with texture.
Then, I teased her hair. Starting from the roots, I brushed my fingers through her hair once more before she walked out the door.
